Letter To Spanish Fork

Dear Spanish Fork Residents,

Thank you for considering me to fill the important role of City Council Member for Spanish Fork City.  I can promise you I will do my very best to magnify my time serving our city in this capacity.  Two years ago, I learned a lot while running for city council, and since then, I have been continuing to consciously preparing to serve by visiting with people and researching issues.  I deeply I love civic engagement, public service, and most of all, Spanish Fork City.  I want to listen to you and be your voice!  

As I have prepared, I have maintained an active social media presence with my campaign Facebook page.  As I serve and attend city events, such as Wings and Wheels and the Farmers Market, I post about it and proudly share it with everyone.  I have also proactively made efforts to engage with and listen to city residents and have built positive and communicative relationships with city staff members, who do so much behind the scenes to make our city great. 

I want you to know that I am responsible, I am excited to regularly attend meetings and events, and I have been attending all city council meetings for the past two years learning how to do the job well.  I will also be responsive in my communication to you and will work together with other council members as a team player, prioritizing my responsibilities on boards and commissions.  

I listen to understand, will hold strong to my beliefs, will work together to find solutions, seek to understand other points of view, and I am a voice for Spanish Fork citizens because I am one.  I am a forward thinker and invested in Spanish Fork where I have thrived for 25 years.  I have a strong network of friends in our community, I have a good pulse of what is going on in our town, and I am excited for the future of our growing city!  I feel I can best represent our community as a council member for those reasons.
